which is to be held in Singapore from 5-7 October 2007.
This two-day Summit will convene approximately 200 emerging
leaders from across the Asia Pacific region and the
United States to address vital issues affecting Asia
and the world.
The conference is spearheaded
by the Asia Society’s Asia 21 Young Leader’s
Forum Fellows, a select group of Asia’s most dynamic
young leaders representing business, politics, civil
society, media, arts & culture, and academia, who

About
the Asia 21 Fellows Program

To build a network of young leaders from
within the Asia Pacific region who are dedicated to public
service and values-based leadership, the Asia Society
in 2006 established the Asia 21 Leaders Forum and hosted
the inaugural Asia 21 Young Leaders Summit in Seoul, Korea,
November, 2006.
The summit gathered together dynamic
and innovative leaders under the age of 40 from across
the Asian region and the United States and from a diverse
range of fields including businesss, politics, civil
society, media, arts and culture and academia, to attend
a 3 day event. This programme focused on building collaborative
approaches to shared problems through lectures, breakout
sessions, panel discussions and other exercises. Performances
and art exhibitions also contributed to a creative community
and a web blog invited participants and the public to
engage each other on topics raised during the summit.
